(Mung, Chickpea, Lentils etc.)

  • Place 1-3 tablespoons of mung beans onto the stainless steel screen.
  • Rinse under tap water.
  • Spread beans evenly over the screen. Pre-soaking is not necessary with most beans.
  • Place sufficient water in the plastic dish to touch the bottom of the beans. NEVER cover the beans with water.
  • Place the dome cover over them to collect the humidity.
  • Twice daily pour off murky water. Rinse the beans and replace with clean fresh water.
  • Start eating sprouts when the root is as long as the size of the bean (1-5 days depending on the bean/seed).

Prior to use wash unit in warm soapy water. Push down on the middle of screen to make sure it is flat.

The Super Simple Sprouter is not Dishwasher Safe.
Hand wash only.

(Alfalfa, Broccoli, Bok Choy etc.)

  • Place 3 paper towels on mesh
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of sprouting seeds on paper towel
  • Moisten with water
  • Place dome on top loosely (do not push down)
  • Place sprout grower on counter (not in direct sunlight)
  • Check daily to ensure that the paper towel remains moist
  • Mist with spray bottle to keep moist
  • Gently move seeds with your hand to disturb the roots and evenly distribute seeds
